About Us

Established in the early 1970s with the objective of enabling people to discover their innate divinity and develop their faith in God, the Sri Sathya Sai Seva Organization of Nepal now comprises of a total of 178 centres and bhajan groups spread throughout the country. In order to better cater to the spiritual needs of seekers, the organization is involved in various activities, from providing assistance to those in need, to the implementation of an education programme designed to incorporate our values as part of the characater development of children.

The Sri Sathya Sai Seva Organization endeavours to serve the seeker with Prashanti, Inner Peace. Prashanti is the soil upon which worthy thoughts flower and lead one to good actions and to the realization of the true potential of one’s latent energies. This realization is essential to the transformation of the self to higher levels of consciousness, the attainment of which is the primary objective of the organization. Free Membership Membership is free for all.
Codes of Conduct
Every member of the organization must undertake Sadhana (spiritual discipline) as an integral part of his/her daily life and abide by the following Codes of Conduct:
  1. Daily meditation and prayer (according to one's own religious practice).
  2. Devotional singing / prayer with members of one’s family at least once a week.
  3. Participation in the Bal Vikas / Educational Programs conducted by the Organisation.
  4. Participation in community service and other programs of the Organisation.
  5. Attendance at least once a month in group devotional singing organised by the Organisation.
  6. Regular study of Spiritual literature with special reference to Sai Teachings.
  7. Putting into practice the principle of ‘Ceiling on Desires’ and utilizing any savings thereby generated for the service of mankind.
  8. Speaking softly and lovingly with everyone with whom one comes into contact.
  9. Not indulging in talking ill of others, especially in their absence.
