Why Bal Vikas?
- To draw out the latent goodness within the child.
- To develop the ability to discriminate between right and wrong.
- To enable the child to know himself.
Bal Vikas aims to develop the five aspects of a child’s personality in keeping with five universal human values. This is essential in the child’s development and in the building of his character.

- This program was initiated by Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba in 1969.
- It was first implemented in Nepal thirty-five years ago.
- Classes are held once a week.
