Sai Sumangal

Sai Sumangal is a radio programme broadcast weekly on over fifteen radio stations across Nepal. It is produced by the audio-visual unit of the Sri Sathya Sai Sewa Organization of Nepal. Sai Sumangnal was initiated as an offering to Bhagawan’s Divine Lotus Feet on the occasion of Swami’s eighty-third birthday, and over seventy programmes have been broadcast so far. The number of stations broadcasting the programmes has seen steady growth along with the number of devotees involved in the production of the programmes.

Sai Sumangal is based on a magazine format, with the thirty minutes long production divided into various segments. These range from bhajans to “jigyasa – responses to questions received from listeners”, and from “Sai Avatar Gaatha – Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba’s Divine life story based on the seminal text Sathyam Sivam Sundaram”, to narratives based on Bhagawan Baba’s divine discourses.
