Sri Sathya Sai Health Clinic

The Sri Sathya Sai Central Trust Nepal runs a health centre at Naxal, Kathmandu. Established in 2002, on the eve of the seventy-fifth birthday of Bhagwan Sri Sathya Sai Baba, the Sri Sathya Sai Health Service Centre began as a clinic offering free services, such as blood tests, ECGs, X-rays, etc, but has expanded over the years to offer many more services and is now a complete health centre in itself.

The centre was founded, and is run, in keeping with the philosophies of Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba. Much emphasis is laid on the treating of patients with the utmost love and care, and all the services, including medicines, are provided free of charge to all patients irrespective of their caste, creed, religion, or financial status.

About seventeen doctors, specializing in different fields of medicine, offer their services voluntarily at the centre, which has been providing medical care to over 22,500 patients each year. Patients that cannot be treated at the centre, or require specialist attention, are referred to government hospitals.
